We present new partnerships

We invite those artists, bringing their own personality, who are generating special interest on the international scene to be part of the Palau de la Música Catalana program. We will also work with them to build new collaborations in the future.

We celebrate Johann Sebastian Bach

We celebrate the centenary of the first performance of the St Matthew Passion by the Orfeó Català at the Palau de la Música Catalana, and in Spain. We offer an immersion into Bach's work from a variety of perspectives: from the historicist approaches which have generated the various interpretive traditions, as well as some of the more ground-breaking and contemporary approaches.

We explore boundaries

Classical and contemporary music has always found a multitude of spaces from which to contrast itself with other musical genres and even artistic expressions. These new frontier spaces allow for different, innovative programming, with the aim of offering new perspectives of discovery and enjoyment.

We make history with the choirs of the Orfeó Català

We present landmark programmes for the Orfeó Català choral family that include interna-tional collaborations presenting great artistic challenges, and performances with a strong stage and theatrical component.
