The Palau de la Música Catalana and the Orfeó Català express their strong rejection to violence and condemn the war declared by Russia in Ukraine. The Palau and the Orfeó want to manifest that the commitment to peace is an indispensable condition for any artistic manifestation in their hall.

Culture and music are instruments for dialogue and peace, therefore the institution maintains the commitment with Russian artists who as well reject the war and defend peace in order to perform on the stage of the Palau.

Both institutions deeply regret the deaths caused by the conflict and express their solidarity with all the victims.
