Details

Once again, the Petit Palau becomes a radio studio, where we will recreate three stories of music and commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of radio in our country. We will meet and make protagonists of three characters from the history of music: Anna Maria de la Pietat (violinist and favorite student of Antonio Vivaldi), Clara Schumann (pianist, composer, teacher, mother...) and Consuelo Velázquez (interpreter and composer with a bolero soul).

Written from the experiences and reflections of the protagonists, and in the company of a character linked to their lives, the dramatized text will show different perspectives of their trajectories and life experiences. At the same time we will remember the first live transmission and the beginnings of radio and we will relive November 14, 1924, the day when the first live radio transmission took place throughout Spain. The first voice that was heard was that of the announcer Maria Sabater. We will recall that date, the beginnings and the repercussion that the new invention had.

Written by the musicologist and journalist Victòria Palma and directed by Clara del Ruste, the proposal will have the participation of beloved voices from the world of communication: Gemma Nierga, Enric Calpena, Marta Vives, Martín Llade, Elisenda Roca, and with the collaboration of Raquel Sans.
