The qualifying rounds of the 70th Maria Canals Barcelona International Music Competition will take place from March 23 to 30, 2025, at the Petit Palau of the Palau de la Música Catalana.

Only the best 6 contestants will enter the Semifinal Round (March 30), in which they will have to play a 50 minute free repertoire that includes at least one work by a Spanish composer.
