Although she is only 31 years old, the career of soprano Serena Sáenz is advancing at the speed of light. She has already debuted at venues such as the Berlin Staatsoper and the Gran Teatre del Liceu, she has sung in roles such as Pamina (The Magic Flute), Frasquita (Carmen) and the Forest Bird (Siegfried), and she has performed under the baton of such celebrated conductors as Daniel Barenboim and Simon Rattle.
She will be accompanied by Pablo Sainz-Villegas, ambassador for the guitar all over the world, who has appeared with orchestras such as the Los Angeles, Boston, San Francisco, Toronto and Israel Philharmonics and performed at such historic venues as Carnegie Hall in New York.
