Details
The relationship between the ensembles founded by John Eliot Gardiner and the Palau de la Música Catalana grows closer by the year, offering audiences performances of great works of which they are specialists. This season, they will perform Handel's biblical oratorio Israel in Egypt, a work in which the choir is the main protagonist. Another unmissable concert to mark on your calendar.
The concert will be conducted by Peter Whelan, Artistic Director of the Irish Baroque Orchestra & Marsyas Ensemble, Artistic Partner of the Irish National Opera and Curator of Early Music of the Norwegian Wind Ensemble, as well as an acclaimed performer with an extensive and award-winning discography as a bassoon soloist.
