Details
The Asturian pianist Martín García García, considered at twenty-seven years of age one of the most important figures of the instrument at an international level and winner of the Cleveland Piano Competition and the Chopin Competition, is one of the beneficiaries of the first edition of the Alicia de Larrocha Scholarship, conceived specifically to facilitate the debut at the Palau de la Música Catalana for profiles like him. For his presentation in the modernist hall he has chosen a programme with works by Chopin and Mompou –the two composers he has recorded on his latest album–, as well as Albéniz.
