Details
The program La Nit (The Night) created by Trio Fortuny (Bardolet - Codina - Heredia) with the collaboration of the dance company Mal Pelo, revolves around the night as a central theme and includes the arrangement for trio with piano made by Eduard Steuermann from Schönberg's Transfigured Night and works by lesser-known composers such as the Swiss-American Ernest Bloch or the French Mel Bonis. Fortuny Trio also leaves room for local new creation, including Joan Magrané's Trois Nocturnes, a piece dedicated to them. Mal Pelo's collaboration with Trio Fortuny stems from the musicians' deep conviction that movement and space are part of the artistic experience, which is shared with the audience, going beyond genres. Specially in this case, we find in Joel Bardolet the connecting link, given that he has collaborated with the prestigious Catalan dance company for more than 10 years.
