- Writing a will is a simple and affordable process that is best done before a notary. It is advisable to do so, as this ensures that your assets will be distributed according to your wishes, preventing issues for family and loved ones. If you do not make a will and do not have compulsory heirs, the law designates the Generalitat de Catalunya as the heir (for residents of Catalonia).
- If you wish, you can include the Palau in your will as an heir or leave a legacy. An inheritance includes all the properties, rights, and obligations that the heirs of a person receive when they pass away, whereas a legacy is a specific portion of that inheritance.

- The financial assets will be managed according to the needs of the Palau.
- The real estate and other personal property will be appraised by independent professionals of recognized prestige, and the most appropriate management will be evaluated, also in accordance with the needs of the Palau.
