Despite not coming from a musical family, the young Chinese-American Kit Armstrong is one of the most versatile musicians of recent generations. A child prodigy with advanced training in biology, physics and mathematics, he is also a composer. As a performer, both on piano and organ, he makes his debut at the Palau de la Música with a unique and interesting programme that includes works by Bach and Liszt, and which includes the engaging Piano Sonata in B minor and the Fantasy and Fugue for organ based on the chorale “Ad nos salutarem undam” by Franz Liszt.
