The fourth programme of the 10th season of the Barcelona Youth Symphony Orchestra (JOSB) presents, under the musical direction of Carlos Checa, first of all, the work Refractions, a wonderful contemporary piece by the young Mexican composer Diego Cobian. Next is the famous Fifth Symphony in C minor by Beethoven; and to conclude the concert, the extraordinary cellist Laura Peribáñez returns as a guest, with the fabulous Cello Concerto by Eduard Elgar.
This concert of the JOSB cycle at the Palau de la Música Catalana will be for the benefit of the Pediatric Cancer Center Sant Joan de Déu.
