Gardiner’s idyll with the Palau de la Música Catalana began in 1988 with the interpretation of J. S. Bach’s Passion according to Saint Matthew. Since then we have added sixteen visits, in which historical nights have been lived, such as the commemoration of the two hundredth anniversary of the death of WA Mozart in 1991 or the complete Beethoven Symphonies in February 2020, a month before the onset of the pandemic.
