Details
The title of this session might mislead us into thinking that Ignasi Terraza is presenting a single. Nothing could be further from the truth: what he proposes is a long play vision, a journey through 45 years of performing on stage, celebrating with various ensembles; a side A, a side B, and even a side C, to revisit the past, present, and future of jazz with his unmistakable style. His unique voice has consistently stood out in the most varied contexts. Now, he returns to the Palau, the grand venue where he began his piano studies and where he recorded, during the Mas i Mas Festival, the only solo piano album of his prolific career: Sol-it (Swit Records, 2012). Ignasi Terraza returns to the Palau to deliver a unique performance with surprise guests. Born in 1962, he is undoubtedly one of the most significant artists in the history of jazz in our country, a musician who has collaborated with the greatest, toured the globe, and received numerous accolades.
