Due to illness, Anna Netrebko, postpones her concert scheduled on May 21st at the Palau de la Música Catalana
The new concert date will be December 17th, 2014
The Fundació Orfeó Català- Palau de la Música Catalana and U -Live announce that the soprano Anna Netrebko , who was to perform on May 21st at 20.30 h at the Palau de la Música Catalana accompanied by the Orquestra Simfònica del Gran Teatre del Liceu, has postponed her concert due to illness. The new concert will take place on December 17th, 2014, at 20.30 h .
The laryngotracheitis that caused Anna Netrebko to postpone her concert in Kazan scheduled for May 12 has unexpectedly developed into a more acute respiratory infection with high fever, prompting her doctor to order her to remain on vocal rest through May 27. Unfortunately, this means she will not be able to perform her upcoming concerts at the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Luzern (May 18), Barcelona’s Palau de la Música Catalana (May 21), and Paris’s Théâtre des Champs-Élysées (May 24).
The Paris concert is being rescheduled for July 12, 2014; while the Lucerne performance sadly cannot be rescheduled
Ms. Anna Netrebko regrets any inconvenience this cancellation may cause.
Attention: Tickets for the concert on May 21st will be valid for December 17th concert. However, people having bought tickets and who rather exchange them for another concert or recover the money back, please address to the Box Office of the Palau.
