Details
The Catalan soprano Sara Blanch will draw to a close this season's Palau Grans Veus series with her solo recital début. The concert will take place at the Palau de la Música Catalana, a stage that the singer already knows very well, thanks to her brief but intense stint at the Orfeó Català’s youth choir, the Cor Jove. An expansive performer with a great command of the stage, she combines a very bright and fresh vocal range to provide a programme of Catalan songs and opera arias from an French repertoire that she masters utterly, accompanied on the piano by Albert Guinovart. A winning duo that finishes off a series that brought together six leading, emerging voices from the international scene.
