Details
The Palau de la Música Catalana will of course carve out space for Christmas musical tradition, and this year the Palau 100 concert series will include Handel's Messiah, performed under the baton of French conductor Laurence Equilbey (1962). Equilbey has received international recognition for founding the Accentus choir, a leading, internationally-recognised professional choral ensemble. Together with the Insula Orchestra, the conductor will perform one of the greatest works of choral repertoire in the world. The concert will feature the voices of four great vocal soloists, led by soprano Louise Alder and tenor Stuart Jackson. “Hallelujah!”
